I designed some of the rooms in my home because I have a passion for it, but there was one area I really needed help with. Krystal guided me through the process and gave voice to my style. She brings an extra layer of understanding how every room should coordinate. My favorite space in my house is the work she and I have done together.

FAQs

How does your process work?

How does your process work?

Our full-service design process kicks off with a free discovery call to get to know each other and make sure we’re a great fit. If we’re aligned, we’ll then schedule a virtual meet and greet, followed by an onsite visit. After that, we’ll present your scope of work, introduce you to our team of trusted tradespeople, and present your design with samples and renderings so you can touch and see everything before any construction work begins. We always work with your best interest at heart and want you to be comfortable every step of the way, so we’ll work closely with our circle of tradespeople to ensure every piece is installed flawlessly.

You can read more about our high-touch process on our Interior Design Services page.

What happens during our first call?

What happens during our first call?

During our free discovery call, we’ll get to know each other, talk about your vision and design dreams, and if we both feel we’re a good fit for the project, we'll move forward with a virtual meet and greet.

For more information on what comes after the discovery call, read about our full process on our Interior Design Services page.

When can we start?

When can we start?

We always welcome new projects and can’t wait to chat about yours! Our design projects typically book two to three months out, but this can vary throughout the year and occasionally we may even be able to get started sooner. You can reserve your start date in advance by placing a deposit to work with our team.

How long is our project going to take?

How long is our project going to take?

Project timelines vary depending on the location and scope of the project. For example, renovation work will be significantly longer than simply furnishing a room. On average, a small project typically takes around 6 months to complete, whereas new construction and large renovations may take more than a year to complete. Whatever the timeline, we pride ourselves on keeping your project on schedule and communicating with you every step of the way.

How much is it going to cost?

How much is it going to cost?

You’ll find detailed pricing and starting rates on our Interior Design and Staging & Consulting pages. Full-service interior design starts at $50k+. For larger scopes of work we may be able to break your project into phases to help spread out the cost. The best way to get an estimate for your project is to contact us for a discovery call and custom quote.

Our discovery call and virtual meet and greet are complimentary to help us both make sure we’re a great fit. Our onsite visit includes a fee of $750 due to the time and labor involved during and after that meeting.

What’s your cancellation policy?

What’s your cancellation policy?

We know schedules change, and we do our best to accommodate when possible! If you need to cancel a meeting with us, please let us know as soon as possible. For paid meetings, such as onsite visits, virtual and in-studio consultations, and real estate walk and talks, any appointments canceled within 48 hours will be subject to the full service fee. If the cancellation is due to an emergency, we will allow one reschedule within 30 days.

Can I hire you to design my commercial space?

Can I hire you to design my commercial space?

Yes! While we specialize in serving homeowners throughout the Philadelphia area, we also love helping our clients design beautiful brick-and-mortar stores, workspaces, vacation rentals, and investment properties. Use the form above to contact us about your project and we’ll be in touch to make sure we’re the right fit for you.

Do you do all the work yourself?

Do you do all the work yourself?

We take pride in being hands-on and deeply involved at every stage of your project. And we also take pride in sourcing reliable, vetted tradespeople to carry out specialty work in the best way possible. Creative collaboration is one of our core values as a company, and we love partnering with like-minded artists and craftspeople who believe in leaving the world more beautiful than they found it.

Shouldn’t we hire a contractor first?

Shouldn’t we hire a contractor first?

Folks often think they need to hire a builder first and then bring in a designer, but in reality, the opposite is true! It’s best to have a complete team, working in harmony, to guide you through the dos and don’ts of design and construction and set the project up for success. That’s why one of the benefits of hiring our full-service design team first is that we bring in our trusted tradespeople and vet everyone with you before the work kicks off.

What if my project isn't local?

What if my project isn't local?

No problem! We love to travel and are excited to take on projects outside the greater Philadelphia area. Travel fees and timelines will vary based on the location and scale of the project.

What if I need my home to be kid-friendly or pet-friendly?

We love our fur babies and know that pets, children, and grandchildren are often an important part of our clients’ lives at home. So we always work to create spaces that are both livable and luxurious, where everyone you love can feel comfortable. Our goal is never to force a style on you but to elevate the way you actually live.

How will you get to know my design style?

How will you get to know my design style?

Our work is all about you; your style, your story, and your vision for your space. So we’ll dig deep to understand what you like visually — from Pinterest, Instagram, magazine cutouts, or wherever you find inspiration — and even invite you into our studio to hear your thoughts on paint colors, wallpapers, and more.

And we’ll also consider other factors like how you use your space, whether you’re right or left-handed, how tall you are, and what you love about your existing space. At the end of the day, what matters most to us is that you can come home to a space you love, so we work hard to make sure we understand you before moving forward.

What if my style is different from yours?

What if my style is different from yours?

Who cares about us? You do you. We’ll always give our honest take to help you achieve the look you want, but we’re not here to push design trends on you or force you into a specific aesthetic. Tell us what you love, and we’ll translate it into a design that fits your space and style.

Do you source from retail stores?

Do you source from retail stores?

It depends! For our Edesign services, we may only source from retail stores so that we can give you shoppable links to easily carry out your design on your own. But for full-service interior design, we prefer to source from trade-only vendors to ensure you get the unique, high quality, and collected look you're looking for.

Can you customize new construction?

Can you customize new construction?

Absolutely. While we always love old homes with good bones, we also get excited about helping our clients take a brand new home that feels “cookie-cutter" to them and turn it into a completely custom space that reflects their unique style.
